Netro was tasked to create a clean and modern user interface for Webponder, an innovative service that matches users with expert professional advice. Our design focused on usability, ease of navigation, and discovery. The design allows users to connect with the right experts quickly.
In order to match the needs of a diverse user base, Webponder’s network of experts is vast. So we created a user controlled tool for search, discovery and comparison. This intuitive tool allows comparisons based on criteria that includes Expertise, Price, Location, and Availability. Users can drag and drop their choices into the comparison tool all on one page.
The primary feature of Webponder is video consultation with experts. We built the video conference interface from the ground up, integrating a number of key functionalities to create a rich user experience. An easy to use player is at the center. On the right is a Chat Log which can be emailed or printed. Files for review such as PDF documents are contained in a File Log. Other details such as Notes and Elapsed Time let the users stay in control of their session.
We created a video for Webponder that explains the concept in a clear, brief, and appealing way. This short video gets the key concepts across and keeps the viewer’s attention until the end. The video player invites the user to engage, and the video content then draws the user in to the service. Users have come to expect professionally produced video as part of their web experiences.
We built an internal Inbox and Messaging system so users can communicate with each other within the service. Users receive a notification whenever a new message has been received. All communications and documents are stored in the user profile for easy access. By integrating a private message system within the service users are more likely to return to check their profile, status, and account.
